Cheesecake is one of the most loved recipes in the world, but Americans have also created a National Cheesecake Day to honour their love to this dessert.

Cheesecake is a versatile recipe, and you can use different ingredients for the base, the cream, and the toppings, you can bake it or let it cool in the fridge.

They say that cheesecake cannot be classified as a cake because it is not a bread-like food. Nonetheless, it is an amazing dessert. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, savoury cheesecakes are also becoming more popular, and you can find lots of recipes. Here's our top three:

 

5 INGREDIENTS CHEESECAKE

 

Cheesecake with only 5 ingredients

 

Utensils:


Ingredients:

  • 300gr graham biscuits
  • 100gr Butter or vegetable spread
  • 250gr cream cheese
  • 500gr Greek yoghourt
  • Any fruit of choice

 

Directions:

  1. Start with the base: blend the biscuits
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave for 20 seconds, stir and check if completely melted if not
  3. give it another 10 seconds
  4. Mix the butter and the biscuits
  5. Take your Non-Stick Spring Cake and add your base mix, press firmly with a spoon
  6. Leave the base in freeze at least for 30 minutes
  7. In a mixing bowl mix the yoghurt, cream cheese (and sugar if you want)
  8. While you wait for the base to become solid, slice you fruit to add on the top of your
  9. cheesecake
  10. Take the base out of the fridge pour inside the yoghourt and cream cheese mix
  11. Now you can get creative and add your fruit on the top!
  12. Leave it in the fridge for 1 hour at least before eating.

 

LOTUS MILK CHOCOLATE NEWYORK CHEESECAKE

 

Lotus Milk New York Chocolate Cheesecake

 

Utensils:

 

Ingredients:

  • 250gr lotus biscuits/ any graham biscuits
  • 60gr Butter or coconut oil
  • 90gr milk or alternatives
  • 250gr cream cheese
  • 150gr Greek yoghourt
  • 60 gr sugar or erythritol
  • 3 eggs
  • 80gr milk chocolate

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven at 170 C*.
  2. Once you have blended the biscuits, add the butter and the milk
  3. Cover all the base and borders of the Non-Stick Spring Cake (21cm) with your base mix.
  4. In a mixing bowl whisk the sugar/erythritol, the yoghourt, cream cheese and eggs.
  5. Pour everything inside the Non-Stick Spring Cake
  6. Bake for 50 minutes and after switch off the oven and leave the cheesecake for 5 minutes
  7. Melted the chocolate and spread it on the top of the cheesecake.
  8. Let it cool
  9. ENJOY!

 

4 VEGAN ON THE GO CHEESECAKE

Ingredients:

  • 8 dates
  • 40gr of grounded almonds
  • 300gr vegan yoghourt
  • 100gr of vegan cream cheese
  • Fruit of choice (strawberries)
  • Coconut flakes/ cinnamon/ chocolate pieces

 

Directions:

  1. Mix the yoghourt and the cream cheese until smooth
  2. Blend together the almonds and the dates
  3. 1⁄4 almond and almonds mix at the bottom of one jar and with a spoon press it to create a
  4. nice base
  5. Now, add on top the yoghourt and cream cheese mix, strawberries and coconut shaves
  6. Close the jar and leave the cheesecake on the fridge for a minimum of 10 minutes
  7. Next morning when you are rushing into those 9am lecture just grab one to eat on the go or between breaks
